Save Money Shopping for Clothing at Thrift Stores

GOkay so lately my family and I have been on a budget and i refuse to buys a top from Forever21 for $19- 30. Soooo i have been going thrifting like every wenseday. I am soo addicted to vintage clothing now. I found like 4 silk shirts this go round, and all were around 4 and under. I have found really cute heels, biker boots, and vintage bags. I love putting my own twist on the "grandma" looking clothes (as my sister would say) and adding my style in it. You guyssss i encourage you to find your local thrift store whether its Slavation Army, goodwill, etc...

Oh yeah it's soo fun to go thrifting with a friend, Go thrifting you guys :))

I tried the cinnamon for hair color..

And.................It worked !!!! It inhanced my brownish redish highlights, you can see them in the light but can really see them in the son. I haven't took pictures but I am.
Here's my recipes :
`Cinnamon
`Conditioner (herbal Esssense)
` Table spoon of Lemon

I left it on for about 13 hours, i put three bags on my head and a scarf to trap it all in. I really think the cinnamon promotes hair growth because it tingled the mess out my head. Oh yeah, its hard to get the cinnamon out, so work it lol. But it smells awesome. But i will use it about 2 more times to get the natural highlights to come out more.

Steam Your Hair w/o a Steamer

This is a tutorial on how i steam my hair without a steamer. I get great results all thet ime, extra moisture in my hair & it feels great. This is also something to incoporate in your winter regimen, we all know we will need moisture!!!Its very simple and easy.
You will need:
`Small Towel
`Boiling water in pot
`Plastic Cap or bag

Product Review: Long Term Relationship Conditioner

My review: Love Love Love this stuff. As soon as i applied it to my wet hair, it instantly felt smooth and silky. It detangles my hair well, even with just finger combing. The smell is even two thumbs up!! I use it for my co-washes & my deep conditioner. A+

Finally found a airdrying routine that works!!!

I had been looking for a airdrying routine that works for my hair that would give me a look as if i just blowdryed my hair with the comb blow dryer. I tryed the scarf method (hair hanging) it made my hair frizzy and a mess. I tried the wet wrap (loved it) but just too much manipulation for my hair, i only do it like once a month. I tried basically all the airdrying routine out their lol

Here what id did:
` Co washed hair
` DC
`Applied detangler on hair & detangled
`about 1 to 2 mins later i applied creamy leave in condtioner to my hair (fingered combed through)
` 1 to 2 minutes later, i applied wrap lotion to my hair and combed through
` Combed hair back and put scarf over my head
` Used tangle tweezer to just smoothedout hair but did not used tangle tweezer on ends (while scarf on)
` Let aidry for about 30 mintutesn, Moisturize & seal hair
NOTE: While airdrying continue to smooth out hair with fingers to prevent frizz
` After letting dry for 30 mintues, i tucked my hair ends into the scarf pouch & let airdry
` Occasionally take hair ends down and smooth with fingers to prevent frizz and tuck ends back in
`WaLAH! After hair is completely dry it should be frizz free

My Nail Journey !!!

I have bit my fingernails all my life. I would always say i'm going to stop biting them but i never did. Last month June 15 (i think) I finally stopped bitting them. Its almost a month and i still have not bit them. They have grown soo much. Didn't take a before picture :(

But its not even a month yet & this is how they look. Before my nails were like bitten bitten like all the way to my skin literally. But thank GOD he delivered me from this bad habit. Thank you JESUS !!!!

Nail Regimen:
` Push cuticles back every other day
`File nails or twirl ring instead of bitting
`let nails sit in egg yolk , its a strengthner(once a month)
`Apply nail strengther (clear polish) every other day
`Keep nails polish
`Soak in water every other day
`Apply cuticle cream everyday

Co-wash day (sunday) Mosisture !!!

Today i cowash my hair. Did a strand test and my hair needed moisture really bad lol.
So heres what i did.

1. Co-wash hair (V05 Conditioner)
2. Deep conditioner (V05,EVOO,Herbal Oil)
3. Steamed hair w/ deep conditioner
4. Leave in conditioner (V05, herbal oil, EVOO, water)

Hair felt lots bettah!!

Yes i am doing alot of homemade treatment, i'm on a budget right now for my hair lol. But i'll get my products soon.

COWASH DAY !!! (FRIDAY)

The first thing i do before i start my wash is do a strand test, to see whether my hair needs moisture or protein. My strand proved that i needed protein becasue it stretched more than normal. So this is what i did:

1. cowash w/ Herbal Esssence Long term Relationship (light protein conditioner)

2. deep condition w/ Cholesterol Conditioner (light protein deep conditioner)

3. Leave In condtioner w/  (African Pride leave in <protein>)

My hair strand felt much better and normal. MOISTURE & BALANCE PEOPLE !!!

-GHE (braidout & twistout days)

-Trim my ends 3 times in a year

-Dust every month

-Get a touchup 20-24 weeks post (4 months)

Planking is becoming very very popular, whether its the web, videos, or pictures it is popular. Many celebs (pictured: Dwight Howard & Gilbert Arenas) are planking.
