Rethinking Sulfate Shampoos

When starting a hair journey their are two major bad ingredients  Sodium  Lauryl Sulfate and Mineral Oil. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is bad for your hair it makes hair dry very quickly. It also strips your hair off its moisture and other essential oils. It does a whole lot of other things as well. Lately, well for about a year now, I have been just co-washing my hair and  deep conditioning every wash and clarify(Shampooing with a sulfate shampoo) once a month. Recently I found a sulfate free Shampoo, thats amazing, but it doesn't do the job like sulfate shampoo. I HATE an oily scalp/greasy roots. I find that my sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner doesn't do the job that needs to be done. What is really the purpose of a sulfate-free shampoo if it doesn't do any cleaning? About a month or two ago I was talking to my hair stylist and I asked her was Sulfate Shampoo bad for the hair and she said " Yes but as long as you do a deep conditioner after shampooing with it your hair will be fine." Right about now I am researching and trying to find what works best for my hair, not others, but mines :)

Howdeee! Here's my outfit of the day. I just simply to one of my fathers big dress shirt(similar to the one below) and i rolled up the sleeves, didn't button 5 buttons and tied it up. I love the look, i am starting to find pieces in my father's closet. Even long man dress shirts can be turned into dress, blog post coming soon. I hope you guys enjoy this look and get inspired. Oh yeah, sorry some of the pics are not rotated on here, i edited and rotated them but they dont seem to show on here, so bare with me lol.

I know its a little late but Merry Christmas to you all. I hope everyone had a wonderful day and got what they wanted. Remember the real meaning of Christmas is Christ not Santa, or gifts but Christ. He was born sometime in November - March, but Christmas is all about celebrating Christ birth, but don't get all caught up in the gifts remember the meaning.

Rest in Peace to the  beehived soulful diva Amy Winehouse. She was found dead today, she was only 27. She is the singer of "Rehab" and "Back to Black". She was truly a rock legend and will be truly missed by her family, friends, and of course fans. RIP

This woman has tattos all over her body of or about beyonce. She has lyrics, beyonce's name, and beyonce tattoed on her. I think this is way too much, that's going way out, especially since beyonce probaly doesn't know her. But hey that's her. Check out the video above to see it.

How about planking ?? :))

Planking is becoming very very popular, whether its the web, videos, or pictures it is popular. Many celebs (pictured: Dwight Howard & Gilbert Arenas) are planking. All you do is lay flat on anything, you can go crazy with it and go on top of a building or highway or just simply lay flat on your dining table. Many also disagree and are against planking, but i think its pretty fun, probably about to go try it now lol.

The thing i like is that is a non-real reality show, but they talk about real matters that's going on and real things that are going on and their lives and other celebs lives-- RUMORS!
